Croquet

(1) The game itself. (2) The act of hitting at the player's own ball when set against another which it has "roqueted." (3) In the usual modern sense it may mean (a) the first hitting of a friendly or opposing ball; (b) the stroke upon them both when set together. Roquet is a term now obsolete.
