Peregrine
Falco peregrinus or gentilis. The adult colouring is blue-grey upon the back, ashengrey upon the breast, barred with black. The young are brown on the back with longitudinal markings on the breast, which is pale buff. The length of the male is 16 in.; of the female 21½ in.
