Coupler

A mechanism in the organ, by means of which the keys of two manuals are joined so that the depression of the keys of one causes the depression of the corresponding keys of the other. Pedal Coupler joins pedal keys to one of the manuals. Octave Coupler causes the octave above or below each key struck to sound either on the same or on another manual.
