Antenor

A Trojan, son of Aesyetes and Cleomestra, and husband of Theano. He was one of the wisest among the elders at Troy; he received Menelaus and Ulysses into his house when they came to Troy as embassadors; and he advised his fellow-citizens to restore Helen to Menelaus. On the capture of Troy, Antenor was spared by the Greeks.
