Herminius
A valiant Roman who defended the bridge with Cocles against the army of Porsenna. Lord Macaulay, in his noble prem Horatius, alludes to him as one of the dauntless three who defended the bridge against the host of Porsenna: "And out spake strong Herminius, Of Titian blood was he, 'I will abide on thy left side, And keep the bridge with thee."
