Albumazar
An astrologer of the ninth century, born in Korassan, known principally by his astrological treatise, entitled, Thousands of Years, in which he declares that the world could only have been created when the seven planets were in conjunction in the first degree of the ram, and that the end of the world would take place when these seven planets (the number has now risen to twelve) will be together in the last degree of the fish. Several of Albumazar's treatises on astrology have been printed in Germany, of which one was his Tractus Florum Astrologiæ, Augsburg, 1488. (See Astrology.) ،،
