Channing (WILLIAM ELLERY an American)

WILLIAM ELLERY, an American poet; nephew of William E. Channing , the elder; born in Boston, Mass., June Ju 10, 1818. He is author Mass., June 10, 1818. He is author of "Poems" (1843-1847); "The Woodman" (1849); "Near Home" (1858) "The Conversations in Rome" (1847); and "Thoreau" (1873).

He died in 1901.
