Cornucopia
the horn of plenty, a horn wreathed and filled to overflowing with flowers, fruit, corn, etc. It was the symbol of plenty, peace, and concord.
It was fabled to have been a gift from Jupiter to his nurse, the goat Amalthea.
It was a frequent attribute of Ceres.
In botany, Cornucopiæ is a genus of grasses, tribe Phalereæ. The only known species is the C. cucullata (horn of plenty grass), often cultivated in gardens. It is a native of Greece and Asia Minor.
