Grand Junction
a city of Coloon the Denver and Rio Grande, the Colorado, the county-seat of Mesa co. and Grand River Valley railroads, and rado Midland, and the Grand Junction at the junction of the Grand and Gunportant agricultural region and is espenison rivers. It is the center of an im- GRAND cially noted for its fruit growing. There are extensive coal mines in the neighborhood and its industries include machine shops, lumber yards, railroad shops, brick works, and a beet-sugar factory.
Its public buildings include a public library. Pop. (1910) 7,754; (1920) 8,665.
