Jones (WESLEY LIVSEY United States)

WESLEY LIVSEY, United States Senator from the State of Washington; born in Illinois in 1863, he graduated from Southern Illinois College in 1886. Three years later he moved to Washington, at that time a territory, and took up the practice of law. He identified himself with the Republican party in the State and was active in the presidential campaigns in the West. From 1899-1909 he was a member of the Na- JONSON tional Congress and in the latter year was elected to the Senate. In 1914 he was re-elected for a second term.
