or KABAH (kä'bä), name of the ruins of a large city of Yucatan, visited by Charnay, Stephens, etc.; 12 miles S. W. of Ticul. The ruins consist of huge pyramids, great terraces crowned with buildings, palaces, triumphal arches, etc.
