GEORGE HORACE, American editor, born in Louisville, Ky, 1868, graduated from Yale, then devoted himself to general newspaper work, till 1899, when he became editor of the "Saturday Evening Post," for whose city hall, court house, hall of records, wide popularity his ability was largely popular of his books are "Letters from a Self-Made Merchant to his Son" (1902) and "Jack Spurlock-Prodigal" (1908).
