Maude

CYRIL, actor; born in London in 1862, he appeared in the United States in "East Lynne" in 1883. He scored much success in "Racing" in London in 1886 and joined Henry Arthur Jones's company. Was co-manager of the Haymarket, London, from 1895 to 1906, and until September, 1915, was manager of the Playhouse, which he rebuilt. In recent years has been starring in the United States, particularly in the title rôle of "Grumpy".
