Taylor (BERT LESTON an American writer)

BERT LESTON, an American writer, born at Goshen, Mass., in 1866. He was educated at the College of the City of New York and later entered journalism. He became known in connection with a humorous column in the Chicago "Tribune." headed "A Line-o'- R TAYLOR Type or Two." His works include: "Lineo'-Type Lyrics"; "The Well in the Wood"; "The Log of the Water Wagon"; "The Charlatans"; "Extra Dry"; "A Line-o'- Verse or Two"; "The Pipesmoke Carry"; "Motley Measures." He died in 1921.
