Thompson (JAMES WESTFALL an American)

JAMES WESTFALL, an American university professor; born in Pella, Ia., 1869; graduated from Rutgers College and studied in the Sorbonne in Paris. In 1895 he became assistant professor of history in the University of Chicago, being finally professor of medical history in 1913. He has written a number of works, among which are: "Development of French Monarchy Under Louis VI" (1895); "The Last Pagan" (1916); and a number of contributions to various magazines.
