GEORGE GRAHAM, an American lawyer; born in Frankfort, Ky., Dec. 6, 1830; was graduated at Center College, Ky., in 1848, and at the Law Department of Transylvania University, Ky., in 1853; settled in Missouri in the latter year and there began the practice of law; was a member of the Confederate Congress for three years; and was elected to the United States Senate from 1879 to just before his death in 1904.
