Mix in 10 ounces distilled water, 1 ounce acetate of iron, 1 ounce nitrate of silver, and 2 ounces nitrate of bismuth; moisten the hair with this mixture, and, after an hour, touch it with a mixture of equal parts of sulphide of potassium and distilled water.
