Brandy Punch

Take 1 table- 929. Bottle Wax. Shellac, 2 pounds; spoonful raspberry syrup, 2 table-spoonfuls resin, 4 pounds; Venice turpentine, 1½ pounds; white sugar, 1 wine-glass water, 1+ wine-glass red lead, 14 pounds. Fuse the shellac and brandy, 1/2 small sized lemon, 2 slices of orange, resin cautiously in a bright copper pan, over 1 piece of pineapple. Fill the tumbler with a clear charcoal fire. When melted add the shaved ice, shake well, and dress the top with turpentine, and lastly, mix in the red lead. berries in season; sip through a straw.
