Florida Water (Oil of berga- Eau d'H liotrope)

Oil of berga- 1003. Eau d'Héliotrope. Take essence of ambergris, coarsely powdered, 1/2 Imperial mot, 3 ounces oil of cinnamon, 4 drachins; fluid drachm; vanilla, ounce avoirdupois; or ange-flower water, 1/2 pint; rectified spirit, 1 quart; digest for a week, and then decant or filter . 5 or 6 drops each of oil of bitter almonds and cassia are sometimes added. Used both as a cosmetic and perfume.
