Triturate and, after standing for a short time, filter unin a glass mortar, 10 grains corrosive sublim- til perfectly clear; if not bright, add about ate in 12 drops muriatic acid, and add gradu- 2 fluid drachms more alcohol. This is a fine preparation, each tea-spoonful containing until effervescence ceases. Boil the solution until nitrous vapors are no longer perceptible, about 2 grains of bismuth salt
