Iodine Lotion
Tincture of ioglove; 1 fluid drachm dilute nitric acid; 4 chloride glove; 1 fluid drachm dilute nitric acid 4 rose- wash. It is a remedy for corns.
Mix for a water. To allay the irritation in itch and with a small brush. Or: Iodine, 1½ grains; Apply some other skin diseases. 4841. Glycerine Lotion for Burns, Scalds, &c. Take 1 ounce glycerine, 2 ounces thick mucilage (gum-arabic dissolved in water), and 7 ounces lime water. For burns, scalds, chaps, excoriations, &c. add 1 pint of water.
