Tincture of Blue-Flag
Macerate 3 ounces powdered blue-flag in 1 pint alcohol; or, make 1 pint by percolation. (Am. Dis.) powdered opium in a mortar with some of the hot water for about 10 minutes, filter, and pass the remaining water through the dregs.
To the fluid obtained add the alcoholic solution of oil and camphor, and dissolve finally
