To Silver or Gild Pills

Pills are gilded and silvered by rolling them between the fingers slightly moistened with mucilage, and then shaking them up in a small gallipot covered with a piece of paper, along with a little gold or silver leaf, or a litleaf, or a little powdered gold or silver.
