Assignment of a Lease
A. B. [SEAL.] Know all men by these presents, that I, the within-named A. B., the lessee, for and in consideration of the sum of one thousand dollars, to me in hand paid by C. D., of, etc., at and before the sealing and delivery hereof (the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge), have granted, assigned, and set over, and by these presents do grant, assign, and set over, unto the said C. D., his executors, administrators, and assigns the within indenture of lease, and all that messuage, etc., thereby demised, with the appurtenances; and also all my estate, right, title, term of years yet to come, claim, and demand whatsoever, of, in, to, or out of the same. To have and to hold the said messuage, etc., unto the said C. D., his executors, administrators, and assigns, for the residue of the term within mentioned, under the yearly rent and covenants within reserved and contained, on my part and behalf to be done, kept, and performed.
