The Bartholdi Statue of Liberty

M. Bartholdi's figure of Liberty stands, without reckoning the diadem, 105 feet high; but the extreme height from the feet to the upper end of the torch held by the outstretched hand, is 137 feet 9 inches. The statue is placed on a granite pedestal 83 feet high.
