Blast Pressure
The blast should always be delivered at a pressure sufficient to force its way freely through the whole contents of the cupola, and this is effected in cupolas from 20 to 80 inches diameter by a pressure of from 5 to 16 ounces per square inch. See CUPOLA; CHARGING THE COMMON CUPOLA; BLAST-PIPES.
