Newton's Fusible Metal

Bismuth 8, lead 5, tin 3. This alloy melts at 212 deg. See FUSIBLE ALLOYS.

Nosing

The projecting moulding on the edge of a stair tread, which stands immediately in front at the top edge of the riser.

Nowel

The bottom flask in a set composed of cope and nowel. See FLASKS.
