Nickel-plating
The art of nickel electro-plating was invented by Bottcher about 1848, and had developed into an important industry. The best kind of solution to use is one of the double sulphate of nickel and ammonia, which should be saturated at 25 deg., and used in conjunction with a plate of nickel as positive electrode.
