Are being extensively used because of their convenience, especially for moderate duty. The transmission of air under pressure results in none of the annoyances from leakage incident to steam and hydraulic piping, and obviates all trouble in disposing of the exhaust, as this may be allowed to discharge anywhere without inconveniencing any one.
