Very pure rectified spirit, 9 pints; balsam of Peru (gen- macerate for 15 days in 1 pint 95° alcohol; uine) and essence of cloves, each 1 ounce; essences of bergamot and musk, each 2 ounces; essences of neroli and thyme, each + ounce; eau de fleurs d'oranges, 1 quart; mix well.
