Tincture of Digitalis

Moisten Take 4 drachms each powdered opium, gum 4 troy ounces recently dried digitalis (fox kino, and cochineal; 3 drachms cach camphor glove), in fine powder, with 2 fluid ounces and eloves; and 4 drachms aromatic spirits of diluted alcohol; pack it firmly in a conical ammonia. Macerate in 4 pints dilute alcohol. percolator, and displace, with diluted alcohol, Express and filter. 2 pints of tincture. (U.S. Ph.)
